GETTING NERVOUS FOR YOUR FIRST MEET- DON’T BE!

It doesn’t matter if you are a guy or girl, getting nervous before meeting your perspective bride and groom is quite natural. Even if you are an absolute fashion updated still you will be flooded with numerous questions like “What should I wear?”, “What if I look fat in this dress?” etc.
Don’t stress out yourself. Relax!
It happens to everyone who hasn’t seen their prospective better halves before, there is nothing to panic about.
1
Calm mind
The first thought on your mind should be that the other person would be equally nervous, so try to relax down yourself. Smile as much as you can, that will be the stress buster for both of you.
Homework
Since this would be the first time that you will be meeting him/her so learn as much as you can from Facebook, Google, bio-data, friends or parents. This way you would find it easier to communicate on the meeting day.
2
Dress up properly
It’s better to decide about the dress beforehand, match accessories along with the dress. Go for Anarkali dress or plain saree, for casual attire match a tunic with jeggings. Guys should stick to shirt & pair of denim for the day.
Venue
Always make sure that you choose a peaceful and serene ambience for the meeting. Better choose a restaurant or park for meeting. Avoid crowded areas, you won’t like to shout while talking.
Inform someone
Make sure that you have informed your parents or friends before meeting. This would help in creating a better perspective in front of family members.
3

Keep it simple
Discuss upon simple topics if you don’t want other person to stress much. Don’t try to fake about anything, be genuine and polite. You have topics like hobbies, interests, work profile & future plans to discuss upon.
Don’t hide
It’s better not to hide anything from your partner, if you are ambitious or hard-working tell him/her on very first day so that nobody makes any kind of perceptions.

Ambivert way
Avoid talking too much or shying away. If you aren’t feeling comfortable then don’t try to talk vaguely. Avoid asking irrelevant questions.

A warm hug or bidding goodbye at end of meeting with a pleasant smile on face will leave a good impression. If you don’t like the person don’t start behaving rudely with him/her. Stay polite and end your meeting with calm expressions.
